Description
Trogir is a city in Croatia that is in Split-Dalmation County. The most significant cultural monument is the Trogir Cathedral, with the west entrance portal, which is the work of Master Radovan. Trogir is located on the coast of the Kastela bay, on the island of Trogir, between the mainland and the island of Ciovo, which is connected by a stone bridge to the mainland. Trogir has been delighting visitors with its cultural-historical monuments and narrow streets along with its art collections with many masterpieces. The Kamerlengo fortress is a magnificent structure from the 15th century, which got its name from kamerlengo – the treasurer that took care of all the finances for the duke. Alongside many cultural-historical sites, the surrounding area of Trogir has many beautiful beaches such as Okrug and Arbanija.
